Whey Permeate Animal Feed
Whey Permeate is produced when whey is filtered to remove the protein. Whey products are traditional feeds for all classes of pig.
Whey Permeate animal feed has the following advantages:
- Very economical
- Excellent source of digestible of energy
- Palatable
- Easy to handle
Whey Permeate can be utilised in any pig ration up to 10% of the dry matter. As permeate contains salt it is necessary to remove added salt from the balancer meal.
Dry matter may vary with each load. We recommend that re-circulation or agitation is available in the storage tank.
