Whey Permeate is produced when whey is filtered to remove the protein. Whey products are traditional feeds for all classes of pig.

This product has several advantages:

1. VERY ECONOMICAL
2. EXCELLENT SOURCE OF DIGESTIBLE ENERGY
3. PALATABLE
4. EASY TO HANDLE

Whey Permeate can be utilised in any pig ration up to 10% of the dry matter. As permeate contains salt it is necessary to remove added salt from the balancer meal.

Dry matter may vary with each load. Typically it is around 16% -18%.
We recommend that re-circulation or agitation is available in the storage tank.
