Delactosed Whey is a traditional feed for all classes of pigs. When used in concentrated form it is important to ensure adequate supplies of water are available and that a suitable low salt mineral balancer is used.

This product has several advantages compared to other liquid feeds:

1. VERY ECONOMICAL
2. EXCELLENT SOURCE OF QUALITY MILK PROTEINS
3. KEEPS WELL
4. VERY PALATABLE

Delactosed Whey concentrate can be utilised in any pig ration up to 10% of the dry matter. It also contains high quality milk proteins which comprise of a nearly ideal balance of amino acids.

As delactosed whey concentrate contains salt it is necessary to remove added salt from the balancer meal. It also complements other products commonly fed through pipeline systems, such as Greenwich Gold and Liquid Chocolate. Dry matter may vary with each load. Typically it is around 40% to 42% dry matter.

We would be pleased to work in co-operation with nutritional advisers if required.
